Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy has been an American actor since 1983. Her first film role was in Bad Boys (1983). She later was a part of the Brat Pack, and later went into the role of WarGames, The Breakfast Club, as well as Short Circuit. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art. Sheedy was married to David Lansbury married on April 12th, in 1992. David Lansbury was the father of Edgar Lansbury's first producer Godspell, as well as the nephew to the actress Angela Lansbury. Beckett is their son born 1994. Beckett is a trans-man with whom Sheedy says she had a great experience. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy was born in June 1962. She is a famous American actor and writer. Her most well-known roles include the lead actress in Brat Pack's films The Breakfast Club, and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club by John Hughes: Why? The film's title, "The Breakfast Club", is a play on the school's nickname for detention. Students are most likely to show up at detention by the time of breakfast. It's the Next Generation. Sheedy included the name "teacher" in her long CV. She has taken her acting students to her classes within the City College of New York City.
