Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox, who studied for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox made it through on the stipend of a student as well as working part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox did not feel content with her performance compared with others at Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox was a flute player with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. However, she left before her band was invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. Her main role was as the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. As part of this group, she was met by Dave Stewart. Together they will create the Eurythmics pop duo. Lennox was then able to begin work on her first solo album Diva and it was released around 1992. It received lots of praise both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was Released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul songs. In addition in May 2019 Lennox has released Lepidoptera which is a compilation comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. She released her first solo album, which was released in conjunction with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I'll Let You Go."
